In and out of consciousness

Trying to manage my mind

Telling myself one thing

When its another the whole time

Lost in my own reality 

I hear a voice inside of me

Compelling me and telling me to speak

I try to stand still

And then it starts moving my feet

It starts singing a song

And I start dancing to the beat 

I say and do whats on my mind

I roll with the truth and just accept the fine

I refuse to tell lie

I have to at least attempt

I gotta try

I always find myself high

And on an exhilarating ride

When I go with that feeling

The one deep inside

Its when I am conscious

And no longer ruled by pride

When I go with the truth

I feel no reason to hide

If the truth is hiding

Then you are the one lying

You sit there and wait

That is your biggest mistake

Don’t you see the move

It’s there for you to make

The risk is yours to take
