How does the hopeless man climb
How can you go up when you are falling down all the time
How can you live in the world when you are stuck in your mind
You try to go forward but things only play in rewind
You try to get out but you are stuck within the lines
You try to do better but you are stopped by bad weather
You find yourself alone when you try to do things together
You get tossed around in the storm just like a feather
You try to reach towards the sky
And you end up on your face asking why
Feeling cheated
And the more you think
The more you feel defeated
You think you have failed where you have really succeeded
The man who keeps trying is the man who will win
At least the feather in the storm is moving with the wind
At least when you are moving something can begin
Momentum is the way forward for us all my friend
The moment you stop trying the journey will end
Its no easy feat to keep trying after you have suffered defeat
But even in failure there is something you have achieved
Perseverance and faith is something that some have uniquely
