I pray that your holiday has gone well
That you had fun with those you love
And that you created new stories to tell
I pray that you go into the new year
With the foresight that your blessings are already here
I hope you can see all that is great about your life
And all the wonders hide right in front of your eyes
There is a whole world waiting for you to jump in
This may be your last chance to do it my friend
If procrastination did you then be smart and don’t let it happen again
Its time for you to put your sail in the wind
This new year is another chance for that journey to begin
Its your time to throw your hat in
At least try, you have no chance of winning a battle you are not even in
Yes life is hard and you will slip
So thank God for forgiveness
And that you are equipped
You are never up the
creek without a paddle
You can win this battle
We all have something that we are supposed to do
With this time you keep getting
God keeps giving chances to you
The time to do it is already here
Fortunately for us we get to do it with a splash
And start from the beginning of another new year
I will live in honor of those that have lived out a full life
And for those that wished they did
And I will live in honor of all the little kids
They all lost what we have still have
To me its simple math
I been given this gift
And I am supposed to do something with it
