A Gust Of You
By: Carl Johnson II (Carl The Muse)
You leave the room, you take my breathe away
You leave me speechless with no words to say.
Its been like this since the very first time
Since that very moment you made me feel so sublime
You move me like a leaf in the wind
I close my eyes, I hold onto you, I dig in
Higher and higher into the sky
I feel you all over me as we fly.
You send chills through my spine and waves through my soul
We toss and we turn, we rock and we roll
You are the wind I’m under your control.
One bit of you my whole world moves and suddenly I know just what to do
Upon you I have a place to go
Because of you
I have a way to float
Because of you
I always have hope.
I lose the battle
and win the war
As you lift me up and allow me to soar.

Dear Carl, I have been meaning to post a comment here sooner, but I just wanted to say what an amazing, heavenly (for me!) poem this is. I printed it and have it hung on my wall. I have passed it on. I am single, but irregardless, there was in this for me a love message from Jesus, of how he views us – how He has a ‘place’ in us. While on earth, he had ‘nowhere to lay His head’, because He had not yet gone to the Cross. But with the cross came circumcision, of the body of flesh, so that we can now share in intimacy with God. This was what God was after… a woman. A spiritual woman to be one with. This poem confirmed some of these higher principles to me, and I adore all the feelings that were attached to it, that made the principles come alive. Thank you ever so much!

Wow, Pamela that was deep! Your message gave me chills as you allowed God to speak through you. The messages come at such times.
I was just sitting here hesitating to post, wondering if it was good enough and I get a message like this. I cannot begin in words to tell you what this message did for me. I am thankful God used me in a way that reached you, lit me on fire inside.
Merry Christmas! And happiness all the rest of the years,
Carl.
